Welcome to my first blog post! This week I am in Spartenburg, SC touring my children’s show, “The Circus King” and having a wonderful time. The audiences have been so kind and responsive. There is nothing like listening to 300 kids laugh for an hour as I go about the show. I am doing 11 shows in five days so the schedule is intense but fun. As for guitar, I have been practicing like a mad man in the afternoons and evenings. Also, I have finished up recording my latest solo guitar CD, “Of Knights And Kings.” So, this week I am working on the CD cover trying to find artwork that will fit the feel of the CD. I am open to any suggestions. The CD was recording late at night while my wife and son sleep generally between 3:30 and 7:00 AM. It is some of my favorite works from the Renaissance and Baroque. Hence the name “While My Lady Sleeps.” You can hear samples on my site at the Bandzoogle section and as soon as i have finished the cover artwork you will be able to download the CD or pre-order hard copies. Some of the works included are top forty tunes like the Pachelbel’s Canon, Vivaldi’s C and D major Concertos, J.S. Bach’s Jesus Joy Of Man’s Desire, Sleepers Awake, and Air On A G String and other lesser known works.
